Kristoff Cox will not return to the Ford Fiesta Sprint Cup this year.

After his unfortunate “off” in the first race in Assen, the repairs to car number 86 took longer than expected and as a team we were not able to have the car ready in time for the Spa races. With the second race weekend in Assen, de Finaleraces, not part of his plans this year. Kristoff has decided to end his season with immediate effect.

“With the second weekend in Assen not planned in our calendar for this season and work commitments on the Monday after the races, I decided to end my campaign in the Fiesta Cup for this year” Explains Kristoff. “I had a lot of fun in the 3 weekends we took part in the Fiesta Sprint Cup and the plan is to do a full season in 2020. With that in mind, we will start testing in November and be as ready as possible for next season!”
